Here are todays selections
7 Units Utah U -13.5 -107
A bad spot for the banged-up Colorado State Rams. You need big-men and offense when taking on mighty Utah, but the last few games Colorado State hasn't had either. Colorado State is without 7’-0” junior Matt Nelson (14 ppg, 58% FGs), and the last two games the Rams have scored 57 and 53 points (both losses). CSU has lost three in a row and is 0-3 ATS in those games. CSU is just 3-5 on the road where they are allowing 77 points per game! They will be overmatched here against Coach Rick Majerus and Utah. The Utah Utes (14-3) are on a roll behind 6’-9” freshman Andrew Bogut (12 ppg, 10 rpg) and 6’-4” senior shooting guard Nick Jacobson (14 ppg). Utah is 10-0 SU/5-2 ATS at home where they allow just 48 points per game! Utah carries an 8-game win streak into this game and banged-up CSU won't derail their express train!!!
5 Units North Texas -9.5 -103
Sun Belt battle and what should be an easy win for the home team. The Florida International Golden Panthers (3-12) have been rotating players all season due to injuries. They are 1-8 against the spread and have lost 10 of the last 11 games. They have two consistent players in 6’-0” Marcus Robinson (11 ppg, 40% FGs) and 6’-9” 250-lb junior Byron Burnett, but don't have the depth to hang with a tall and physical North Texas team. North Texas (6-8) has a big edge up front with LSU transfer 6’-9”, 250-lb senior Shawnson Johnson (16 ppg, 9 rpg), who's shooting 62% from the field! They also have 6’-8” senior Michael DeGrate (10 ppg, 5 rpg) and 6’-7” junior Mike Jones. North Texas will command the boards here and is 5-2 at home where they play great defense, allowing 62 ppg, so it's going to be difficult for Florida International to score. A year ago, North Texas won 94-91 at Florida International and there won't be as much scoring this game, especially by the visitors!!!!
